Burritos & SNES
If you love burritos than this place has your name written all over it. If, however, you are not partial to an old-fashioned burrito/kebab/soft taco then definitely steer well clear. Arriba Grill ONLY sells Mexican styled burritos, full stop. But, they are the best by a Mexican mile.
The set-up is, grab an old-school Faber-Castell Connector Felt Pen, tick the box for burrito inclusions and hand over to your attending chef. They’ve made the menu relatively easy to follow. There are five columns with options. The first time I went here I thought you could only tick one box per column (makes sense right?) however that’s not quite the case. Column 1 and 2 you can only tick one box, however columns 3 – 5 you can ask for everything on the list if you wish.
So the first burrito I had was at bare minimum but the second time round, once I’d realised my amateur error, was choc-a-bloc – in fact it was gorge overload! And this Mexican fare is scrumptious. The lime rice is fresh and zingy while the pinto beans are nice and mushy melding into the mashiness of sour cream and cheese.
If you’re a gamer and love SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) Mario Cart is on offer, taking you back a couple of decades while you devour your oversized burrito.
So make like an Italian Mario and get on down to the Mexican Arriba Grill. Go Go Amigo!
