Boutique Movie Experience
Don’t get me wrong – I’ve done my time at the big Cineplexes and there are still movies that require the gigantic screen (I’m thinking Die Hard type movies here), however over the past year I’ve grown to love the intimacy and personalized service at Blue Room Cinebar. Hidden away in the fabulous little foodie village that is Rosalie, Blue Room is an independently owned Cinema where they show all the latest flicks in “Gold Class” comfort.
The cinemas are small with good-sized screens, large comfy chairs with cushions (and foot stools if you’re in the front row) and the food and drinks service makes it a truly deluxe experience without the scary cost of Gold Class at the big cinemas. Their Italian pizzas (delivered to you during the movie) are delicious – simple, classic flavors; they do a mean cheese or anti-pasti platter and their choc tops … well all I’ll say here is that I may have once driven to Rosalie on a Friday night and ordered a choc top without seeing a movie …
Blue Room often have deals on daily special websites so can get quite busy – you can pre-book tickets and movie/meal packages online before hand to save the hassle.
