St Lucia, Sydney – My how my old University has changed – not surprising given that I graduated in 2001 (oh my goodness could it really be that long ago?). When a friend recently suggested we catch up for brunch at one of the café’s at the University of QLD I was a bit of a skeptic – surely there were better things than brekky at Uni? Happily I was proven wrong and am now a repeat customer!

Beans on the Green is a fantastic little community hub that I like to visit for my morning coffee. Sharing space cleverly with the Bardon Bowls Club, with screw-on coffee tabletops attached to the bench seats along the green, it caters to an ever-increasing morning crowd.   [Read more…]
