The perfect place to relax after a walk, horse ride, cycle or run around Centennial Park can be found just a little off the track. Tucked behind some more formal dining options, you’ll find a deck under some dramatic fig trees with a cute kiosk run by Centennial Parklands Dining.
With views of the surrounding parklands, this kiosk offers visitors a variety of freshly baked goods, snacks sandwiches and drinks. You can eat there or take the food with you to enjoy by one of the lakes.
The best thing about this place is that you don’t need to dress the part as here you’ll find many people gather after a sweaty work out in the park. You’ll find me there most Saturday mornings after a run around Centennial Park, sipping a long black while watching the hive of activity in the sun. It’s a great place to go for some ‘me time’ but also catching up with friends and family on weekends.
Go forth and be yourself, be make-up free and covered in sweat!
