Perth’s urban canvas – Northbridge Street Art Walk (Perth)

Northbridge, Perth – Keep your eyes open in the Northbridge area, around every corner there is art. I’d suggest stopping off at The Butcher Shop, an art supply store with a street art twist that even provides its very own Street Art (online map and guide). And then head to the corner of Milligan and Roe to check out our Street Art Gallery.

Perth is open-minded when it comes to this particular art form. The authorities embrace this amazing Street Art. The local council and the owners of the buildings even have it commissioned. They recognise and appreciate how it improves the urban landscape, and understand the distinction between art and graffiti.

Street Art by internationally renowned artists and our very own locally grown talent is dotted around Northbridge. There are pieces by The Yok and Sheryo, 2501, ololo, Pixel Pancho, Ever, Ryan Boserio and Daek William.

Going off piste from the street map is also a great idea. I’d suggest exploring some of the alleyways and carparks, as there really is artwork everywhere. Just remember stick to daylight hours as Northbridge can be a little volatile at night.
