I used to live in Ruschutters Bay and found it pretty hit and miss with wining and dining. But recently, something has shifted and new restaurants, cool bars and funky cafes are emerging. The cafe I head to, when visiting my old hood, is Posto No.19.
This beautiful, peaceful, white cafe reminds me of dairy farmer’s kitchen. Its good baristas brew excellent coffee in a way that looks frantic but fun. Sit at the front, communal table and you can sip your coffee while watching life outside bustle by.
The customers seem to be good-looking 30 or 40-something well-to-do locals, many of whom use the cafe as an office away from home.
Posto No.19 is a great option when you want a little bit of cool, slightly away from theby
