Bite sized food market for Saturday breakfasts
This sweet little market by the Potts Point fountain is a refreshing treat on a Saturday morning.
There is a great healthy snack stand which sells all the usual suspects; goji berries, inca berries, oats and nuts, a tea stand selling an array of homemade healthy teas, including a delicious decaffeinated Chai tea and a homemade kombucha stand. Kombucha is a fermented food drink which is purported to help add healthy bacteria to the gut, though this one is a little sweet for my taste. There are also fruit and veg stands and organic eggs.
A lot of the produce on sale at this market isn’t Organic so be sure to ask for clarification if there are no labels. The breakfast options of crepes or bacon and egg rolls don’t cater for dietary or health requirements so my tip is to pop into Urge4Health, on the other side of the fountain, and sample the best Organic smoothies in Sydney: www.urge4health.com.au
