Bondi Beach, Sydney – I put off going to The Bucket List on Bondi Beach for ages.. Just like something on a real bucket list, it’s one of those places that I’ve wanted to go to, but I made excuses not to visit it – it’s way too busy, it looks too expensive or they probably won’t let me in if I have sand on my feet…
When I finally visited The Bucket List, I was blown away by how incredibly down to earth it is. From the old school décor to the jovial staff, this beachside bar and restaurant will not disappoint if you’re looking for somewhere to relax in comfort (but not necessarily in style if you have messy beach hair!).
Situated in an unrivalled location with sweeping views of Bondi Beach, it’s no surprise that The Bucket List gets really busy for both locals and visitors alike. However, don’t let this deter you as it’s got a lot of different spaces inside and outside where you can hang out or hide out. It’s a great place for catching up with friends, especially for a couple of cocktails in the afternoon. Fancy a nibble? There is a good range of share plates to soak up the alcohol! Or if you want something a bit more substantial, you could choose one of the main dishes. The Bucket List is definitely another Bondi favourite of mine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
